This is a beautiful, hand-crafted vigil candle for celebrating the Lammas Sabbat (loaf mass), also known as Lughnasadh, celebrated when the first grains are harvested in August. It’s the turning of the Wheel where we begin to move from High Summer toward the stirrings of Autumn, although the sun is still plenty hot and the days are still stifling (hence the oft-used term, Dog Days).
Celebrate the festival of grains with this handcrafted Lammas Candle, dressed with Aventurine crystal, scented with organic essential oils of Lavender/Citronella/Ylang, Lavender/Roses/Vervain (the fairy herb), and an adorable dainty Sunflower bracelet that adjusts to fit most. Inspired by the abundance of the season, this candle honors all that the land so generously offers us for sustenance, the abundance of nature, and the vibrant magic of the season.

🌼 Lammas Meaning & Intention
Lammas, also referred to as Loaf Mass, is often called Lughnasadh, and is the first of the 3 harvest festivals, preceding Mabon (the Autumnal Equinox) and Samhain. It is the time when the wheat and grains are harvested and the first flour is crafted in preparation for the colder months to come. It is a reminder that we are resourceful, and that if we are kind to nature, she is kind to us in return.

Manifest abundance, goals fulfilled and wise planning for the colder months
