Celebrate the return of the light at the Winter Solstice, often called Yule. It is the time of the return of the Sun, the birth of the Son, and it heralds the promise of the coming Spring. It is the coldest time of the year in the Northern Hemisphere, yet the sun appears closer to the earth at Yule than at any other time of the year.
I created these votives to help you light the way through the darkness of this barren time of year, and to illuminate the path forward into the coming new year. Picture the sun melting the snow, creating icicles at sunset, and little forest foxes romping in the fluffy snow that blankets the hillsides. Icy peppermint blended with yummy vanilla bean makes these votives, which feature a tiny aquamarine for peace & calm, smell like a dish of butter mints. I hope you'll enjoy them!
